MPK&D founding partner Mary Pat Seurkamp, Ph.D., President Emerita of Notre Dame of Maryland University, received the degree of Doctor of Divinity honoris causa and was the commencement speaker at St. Mary’s Seminary and University graduation on May 11, 2023.
Mary Pat served on the board of trustees of St. Mary’s Seminary and University from 2008 to 2017 and made invaluable contributions to the improvement and advancement of St. Mary’s educational and seminary formation.
Mary Pat’s 42-year career in higher education culminated in serving as president of Notre Dame of Maryland University from 1997–2012. She was named president emerita when she retired.
