Mercy High School dedicates new athletics complex
Mercy High School in Baltimore has a new $4.3 million athletic complex. Sisters of Mercy Field was dedicated on Sept. 5 and will host soccer, field hockey and lacrosse. In addition, the Mary Anne Heckwolf ’66 field has hosted softball games and been used as a practice field since the spring of 2019.
President Mary Beth Lennon says, “The Sisters of Mercy Athletic Complex is a tangible sign of Mercy’s exciting growth.” The complex has been a priority of the school’s strategic plan. Funds were raised through the “Leveling the Playing Field” campaign and received significant contributions from alumnae, foundations and businesses.
MPK&D is proud to have worked with Mercy High School in Baltimore on its strategic plan, “Mercy Moving Forward,” and fundraising for key projects.
