Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas, continues expanding as the nation’s largest woman-focused institution with a $15 million gift from Dallas-based Doswell Foundation. The largest gift in TWU’s history will allow it to establish a new aviation program to give women greater access in the aviation industry and address a significant industry-wide pilot shortage. The innovative new program will be funded with a landmark commitment from the Doswell Foundation, a longtime supporter of TWU’s College of Nursing. New students in the Doswell School of Aeronautical Sciences will enroll in Fall 2024.
