The Center for Women Entrepreneurs at Texas Woman’s University announced a $1 million grant program called AssistHER to help small businesses owned by women to persevere through the coronavirus pandemic. The program will grant $10,000 to 100 existing women-owned businesses in Texas.
The Center for Women Entrepreneurs is part of The Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at TWU.
MSU Texas
Midwestern State University has loaned two respirators and donated N95 masks, protective gowns and bacterial filters to United Regional, a medical center in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The equipment and supplies were part of the Respiratory Care program in the United Regional Interprofessional Education Suite in MSU Texas’ new Centennial Hall. Since classes are online for the rest of the semester, the hands-on learning facility will not be using the respirators and equipment in the near future.
