MPK&D is honored to work with the Wind River Tribal Buffalo Initiative, a recent recipient of $9.8 million in federal funds to support the construction of a Tribal Buffalo Center at WRTBI’s headquarters in Morton, Wyoming as part of a $36 million grant supporting economic development on the Wind River Reservation. The cover story of this week’s Chronicle of Philanthropy magazine features WRTBI Executive Director Jason Baldes and focuses on the importance and impact of — and gaps within — rural philanthropic investments.
