Ronni Cranwell, J.D. brings 20 years of experience working with nonprofits within both higher education and academic medical centers. She has experience in grant management, major gift fundraising, large-scale event planning and planned giving. Ronni works closely with our partners to provide development management and strategic planning.
Highlights of Ronni’s experience include establishing the Office of Institutional Research at Johns Hopkins University as well as administering a multi-million dollar federally sponsored grant program at the Maryland Association of Community Colleges addressing workforce shortages. Currently, Ronni is working with a Maryland health system to implement a gift planning program across their 10 entities; serving as the campaign counsel for a Catholic, community-centered middle school; and administering a Planning and Capacity Study and developing a major gift program for a membership-based nonprofit organization in Maryland.
Ronni holds a J.D. with a Business Concentration from the University of Baltimore and earned an M.P.P. in Public Policy from University of Maryland Baltimore County as well as a B.A. in Pre-Law Studies from Stevenson University.
As a recovering attorney from Maryland, Ronni currently lives in Alexandria, Va. with her husband, Taylor, and her son, Jack. Ronni enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as traveling, and participating in various outdoor activities.
