Mike Field is a writer and communications specialist with extensive experience in higher education, health care and other nonprofit fields. Previously, he served as director of executive communications and senior advisor to a succession of presidents at Johns Hopkins University and subsequently in a similar position at the University of Pennsylvania.
He has created and implemented comprehensive external communications programs for university development efforts including overseeing the creation of campaign and informational materials across all communications platforms. Mike has hands-on experience in web and social media, print materials, advertising, video and television, audio and radio, strategic correspondence, and internal communications tools supporting departmental initiatives. He has won numerous awards as a video writer, director and producer in support of institutional advancement.
Mike serves on the Board of Advisors for the Professional Speechwriters Association and for Gotham Ghostwriters, the nation’s premiere ghostwriting agency.
