Kristen Gunther, Ph.D.

Kristen Gunther, Ph.D., is a communicator, strategist and advocate based in the mountain west. An ecologist who also holds an MFA in creative writing, her academic and creative expertise lies in translating technically complex topics into compelling, values-oriented communications for a diversity of audiences. Experienced in strategic communications, project management and interdisciplinary collaboration, she has planned and led policy analysis, advocacy and stakeholder engagement work at the state and international levels.
