Jeffrey Denny is a seasoned executive communications professional bringing 30+ years of experience working with leaders of national-level corporate, government and nonprofit organizations. His strategic approach emphasizes thought-partnership and developing and executing high-quality, effective written materials for top executives that advance their organization’s mission, vision, goals and strategies.
Jeff was a political appointee of President Bill Clinton as chief speechwriter to the three consecutive U.S. Secretaries of Defense and then for the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services. Jeff went on to lead executive communications at Fannie Mae for 12 years. Altogether he has served six Fortune 50 CEOs, five U.S. Cabinet members, and numerous client C-suite executives. Jeff launched his independent executive communications practice in 2011.
A four-year U.S. Navy veteran and former prize-winning journalist, and coauthor of the 2022 book, “50 Years of Business Roundtable,” Jeff is a longtime Washington, D.C., resident and currently is an elected local commissioner and a veteran board member of the Washington Studio School.
