The University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) welcomed Cynthia L. Egan as its new chair of the school’s Board of Visitors. Egan is a corporate governance professional and has served on the UMSOM board since 2013.

Former board chair Michael E. Cryor, president of the Cryor Group, was named chair emeritus in honor of his decade of leadership at UMSOM.
