Daniel Carey, Ph.D., has been named to a new Sponsors Council for the Sinsinawa Dominican Congregation.
The Sponsors Council works directly with the eight sponsored educational institutions of the Sinsinawa Dominicans, which include: Bethlehem Academy, Faribault, Minn.; Dominican High School, Whitefish Bay, Wis.; Dominican University and Trinity High School, River Forest, Ill.; Edgewood Campus School, Edgewood High School of the Sacred Heart, and Edgewood College, Madison, Wis.; and Queen of Peace High School, Burbank, Ill.
The Sponsors Council supports the mission of the educational institutions through exercising authority delegated by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, as well as provides leadership and resources to the schools. Its mission is rooted in the discipline of study integrated with prayer, community and service of justice, which are the four pillars of the Dominican tradition. These four pillars provide the bedrock for a Sinsinawa Dominican education.
